Ripe Health dietitians are highly knowledgeable and compassionate clinicians who support our local NDIS community within the Shepparton and surrounding towns. Our skilled team live locally and know our region, understanding the importance of having access to expert health services near home. With over 10 years providing nutritional health care to individuals with a wide range of disabilities.

Our Services

Ripe Health works with NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed and provide dietetic services claimable through the following items.

Our dietitians support people with disabilities for a variety of needs, including:

  • Growth and development

  • Weight management

  • Non-oral feeding

  • Picky eating

  • Chewing and swallowing difficulties

  • Gastrointestinal issues

  • Pressure injuries

Nutrition Support Services

  • Practical healthy eating advice to promote overall well-being.

  • Chronic disease management

  • Home Enteral Nutrition (HEN) management

  • Texture-modified diets

  • Weight management

  • Meal planning and recipes

  • Cooking skill development

  • Healthy supermarket tours

  • Training and education for carers

Dietitian Service Fees

Our dietitian service fees are $193.99 per hour.

Direct Services Include:

  • Consultation (in person, telephone or telehealth), initial assessment and follow-up sessions

  • Supermarket shopping education

  • Meal preparation and cooking session

Indirect Services Include:

  • Resource development eg recipes, meal plans

  • Care co-ordination meetings with health professionals, family, support co-ordinators

  • NDIS Initial report

  • NDIS End of Plan Report

An initial assessment is charged for 2 hours minimum, plus travel, to allow for the consultation and NDIS Initial Report which outlines recommendations, dietetic service plan and hours.

Travel Fees

Our travel fee is in addition to dietitian consultation fee

We charge travel fees at 50% of our hourly rate, in 15-min intervals of total return trip.

15 min return trip = $24.25

30 min return trip = $48.50

45 min return trip = $72.75

60 min return trip = $97.00

Ripe Health have clinic rooms located in Shepparton and our team are accessible to provide nutrition services to meet your needs whether that be at home, in the community, at our clinic or via telehealth.
